Future Stars Baseball

Prepare your child for the future of the sport of baseball through this non-competitive baseball league.

Ages	1st grade (for the most recent school year)
Games	10-12 games per season
Cost	$195.00 base price for Palatine residents
Commitment	Teams will meet twice per week, once during the week for practices and once on Saturdays for a game.

LEAGUE INFORMATION

Future Stars is a non-competitive league.
Teams are assigned based on submitted preferences during registration and elementary school attended.
There are no recorded wins and losses, standings, or playoffs
The season will conclude with an All-Star game on Championship Weekend
All-Star participants will be voted on by each teams’ players.
Practice time slots are 1 hour long.
Games are 6 innings with a 1:45 time limit.
An inning is complete after a team gets 3 outs, scores 5 runs, or bats through the order.
Games are umpired by coaches from both teams.
All pitching is done by the offensive coach.
Batters and runners may advance on a batted ball until the ball is returned to within the diamond.
Runners may not advance on an overthrow.
Stealing of bases and leadoffs are not allowed.
Bases are 50’ apart; 70’9” Home to 2nd base; Pitchers mound is 36’.
Bats must be no more than 33” with a max barrel of 2-⅝” and be USA Baseball certified.
