Spring Registration Now Open

Spring Baseball & Softball is a casual, skills-focused league for kids in Kindergarten through 12th grade who love the game and want to continue developing their abilities. Programs begin the week of March 30, 2026.

Division schedules vary, with teams having up to three player engagements per week (a mix of practices and games). Please refer to our website for more details on your specific division.

Games are primarily played Monday–Thursday and Saturdays, with occasional Friday or Sunday games as needed.

Practice and game locations/times vary and will be set by the league once teams are assigned.

Registration Notes

Registration is handled through the Palatine Park District (PPD). If you do not already have an account, you will need to create one.

Registration Deadlines

Drafted Leagues* – Teams are formed by the league based on skill levels to create balanced teams.

Undrafted Leagues

• Baseball: 1st grade and younger — March 16, 2026
• Softball: 2nd grade and younger- March 16, 2026

Undrafted Leagues* – Teams are formed with an emphasis on friends and school attendance, not skill.

High School Leagues

• Baseball (9th–12th grade): May 3, 2026
• Softball (9th–12th grade): April 15, 2026 (earlier close due to SAA scheduling)

*New players joining a drafted league who have not yet been rated will have the opportunity to attend Ratings Day on March 8 at Falcon Recreation Center in Palatine2195 N. Hicks Road, Palatine, IL 60074 (times TBD). This helps the league place players on the appropriate team.
