4th of July Parade - Palatine Community Baseball & Softball

Palatine Community Baseball & Softball to Participate in the 2026 Palatine Hometown Fest Parade!

All PCBS Baseball and Softball players are welcome to walk with us in this year’s Palatine Hometown Fest Parade!

Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026

If you plan to walk in the parade, you MUST arrive by 10:00 AM.
Final lineup locations and parade spots are TBD and will be communicated once provided by the Palatine Jaycees.
The parade kicks off at 10:30 AM sharp.
ALL children ages 10 and younger MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the entire parade route.
Please wear your 2026 PCBS jersey.
PCBS will have a decorated truck and mini baseballs to hand out along the route.
Players may also bring NUT-FREE candy to distribute.
No water pistols or throwing of candy will be allowed.

Plenty of water to stay hydrated.
A hat for sun protection.
Sunscreen (apply before the parade and bring extra if needed).
A tote bag or drawstring bag to carry water, personal items, and any remaining giveaway items.

There is NO PARKING along the parade lineup area.
If children are attending and need to be escorted to the lineup area, parents should park in the Commuter Parking Deck at Colfax and Smith Street, cross the tracks, and walk west on Wood Street to the lineup area.
The parade takes approximately 1.5 hours from start to finish, so please come prepared for warm summer weather.
Parents of players ages 11 and older should plan to pick up their child near Sanborn School once PCBS has completed the parade route.

Final lineup instructions, maps, and parade details will be shared as soon as they become available from the Palatine Jaycees.
