2025 Hometown Fest Parade
Palatine Community Baseball and Softball will take part in this year’s Palatine Hometown Fest Parade. ALL PCBS Baseball and Softball players are welcome to walk with us in the parade! It will take place on Saturday, July 5th.
What you need to know:
- If you want to walk you MUST arrive by 10:00 am (We are spot 33a and 33b!)
- The parade kicks off at 11:00 am sharp.
- ALL KIDS 10 AND YOUNGER MUST BE ESCORTED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PARADE.
- Please wear your 2025 PCBS Jersey.
- PCBS will have a decorated truck and mini-baseballs to hand out
- (PLAYERS may also bring NUT FREE candy to hand out).
- No water pistols or throwing of candy will be allowed.
- BE SURE TO BRING PLENTY OF WATER TO DRINK.
Logistics
- There is NO PARKING along the parade line-up area.
- If children are attending and need to be escorted to the lineup area, YOU MUST PARK in the Commuter Parking Deck at Colfax and Smith Street, cross the tracks and walk the children west on Wood street to the line-up area.
- It will take roughly 1.5 hours from start to finish of the parade, so be prepared with water, sunscreen, hats, etc.
- PARENTS OF PLAYERS 11 YEARS OLD AND OLDER SHOULD PLAN TO RETRIEVE THEIR CHILD IN FRONT OF SANBORN SCHOOL ONCE PCBS HAS COMPLETED THE PARADE ROUTE.
